Dearest Mama Didith,

It has been 365 days without you and there was never a day that we didn't miss you. It has been 365 days since we felt your hug, heard your voice and seen your smile... Some of those days felt like a year. There's no word for that deep longing we continue to feel up to this day because of missing you. We would have wished to take care of you until your hair turns to gray, until your teeth all gone and your skin all wrinkled. We would've wanted to have you by our side for the longest time God  could possibly give because no matter how old we get, we will always need you by our side.

People say things will get better in time. I wonder now if that's true because somehow time has intensified the feeling of missing you. Sometimes I even get scared that each day that I woke up with brings me further away from the days I had with you.

But painful it may seem, we could not deny the fact that we are indeed blessed that God gave us a mother like you to be with us during the most memorable moments of our lives. 

Right at this very moment, we want you to know that even when our hearts are longing for your physical presence, we still feel you in the depths of our hearts and that's the very reason we get by each day no matter how hard it could get. We love you so much, Ma... we know taht you love us so much, too...

Thank you for all your sacrifices. Thank you for stretching both ends just to provide for us and meet all our needs. Thank you for bearing all the pain and for fighting for us. Thank you for being strong. Thank you for being our Mama Didith.

 We know that God loves you so much... And our hearts are at peace knowing that right now, you are at peace and happy in heaven with Him... 

We miss you Ma... until we meet again...
